Flight of the Snowbird by Jean Lively is a heartwarming story which is hard to find. What year was this story published, and in what state does it take place? Is author Jean Lively still alive? I first read this story in an American Literature textbook in grade school in 1981-1982. Benjy realizes how valuable his sister Sheryl is after he almost loses her in a near fatal skating accident on the ice. He learns to not take her for granted.
ReplyDeleteOne source says that this story The Flight of the Snowbird by Jean Lively was published in 1971. Author Jean Lively was an educator and does not have a known bibliography.
